The president of the Algeria-China parliamentary friendship group at the National People’s Assembly (APN), Mr. Hamsi Saïd highlighted, during the closing session of the work of the 11th Conference on the dialogue between Arab and Chinese civilizations, held in Beijing, the solidity of Algerian-Chinese relations, indicates the day before yesterday Tuesday, a press release from the lower house of Parliament.
Mr. Hamsi reaffirmed on this occasion “the solidity of Algerian-Chinese relations and the convergence of positions in favor of just causes, led by the Palestinian cause”, recalling the common history between the two countries, specifies the same source.
Stressing that the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune “shares with his Chinese counterpart constant positions in favor of just causes”, Mr. Hamsi called for the need to “unify the Arab ranks in the face of current changes”.
He also proposed “extending the extension to Africa through Algeria, which is a strategic portal for dialogue and cooperation with the African people,” the press release added.
It should be recalled that the work of the 11th Conference on Dialogue between Arab and Chinese Civilizations, organized under the aegis of the Department of External Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, began on Monday, the agenda having focused on the exchange of expertise in governance and administration, the intensification of cooperation, cultural and human exchange and the strengthening of understanding among peoples.
