The International Agri -Food Fair Figuretio officially opened its doors this Tuesday in Mostaganem, in the presence of the Ministers of Agriculture, Oualid Yassine, and youth, Mustapha Hidaoui, and accompanied by the Wali Ahmed Boudouh. This event, devoted to the processing industry for agricultural and food products, trade and export, brings together more than 150 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 national and international visitors.
The two ministers took part in the official opening ceremony of the show during their working visit. They then traveled the various stands and pavilions, highlighting the importance of supporting national skills and strengthening production capacities in order to guarantee food security and stimulating exports outside hydrocarbon.
The event stands out as a major meeting for professionals, investors and players in the food and agricultural sector. With more than 150 exhibitors and 20,000 national and international visitors, it offers a platform for exchanges and partnerships, while promoting Algerian know-how and promoting innovation, sustainable development and opening on international markets.
The activities take place over three days and share between different spaces. Mostaland, the main area of exhibitions, will host the stands of exhibitors and thematic activities, allowing visitors to discover new technologies and innovative products.
The Al Mansour Palace Hotel, Sablette, will be devoted to conferences, specialized workshops, as well as to opening and closing ceremonies, offering a professional framework for exchanges and meetings.
B2B meetings, demonstration spaces and networking sessions will allow exhibitors to conclude commercial partnerships and explore new export opportunities, thus strengthening the integration of the sector into international markets.
The program provides thematic conferences on the sustainability of the food industry, the packaging revolution, gastronomy and health, accompanied by practical workshops, technical demonstrations and podcasts, allowing participants to learn and build new partnerships.
Adda Benyoucef Abdelkader, president of the organizing committee, stressed that the show is an essential crossroads for professionals and investors, a lever to promote innovation and opening on international markets.
Yesterday’s ministerial visit marked the official launch of preparations, confirming the importance of this event in supporting the national economy, the development of agriculture and the food industry, as well as the promotion of international Algerian products.
