The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaâ, indicated, the day before yesterday in Algiers, that the justice sector, which has made considerable and tangible progress, is working to preserve the achievements and to achieve more aspirations and progress. Affirming that the process of consolidating the rule of law is inspired by the program of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, currently being implemented in different areas. “The process of consolidating the rule of law, as part of the continued construction of a strong and just State in victorious Algeria in line with the demands of the time, is inspired by the presidential program currently being implemented in different areas,” he said.
Speaking during the opening ceremony of the new judicial year (2025/2026), chaired by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the headquarters of the Supreme Court, Lotfi Boudjemaâ welcomed the efforts undertaken to strengthen the place, credibility and independence of the judiciary, and allow it, he continued, to fulfill its role fully, in accordance with the instructions and guidelines of the President of the Republic.
Recalling that his sector was working on the implementation of the instructions of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at the realization of digital transformation on the ground, the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, on the occasion, expressed the pride of the body of the judiciary to see the President of the Republic, president of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSM) and first magistrate of the country, preside over the opening ceremony of the new judicial year 2025/2026.
For his part, the first president of the Supreme Court, Tahar Mamouni, thanked the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for having presided over the opening of the new judicial year 2025/2026, welcoming the interest shown by the Head of State in the justice sector, in accordance with his commitments acclaimed by the Algerian people. “Healthy and honest justice requires knowledge and training, which guarantee the credibility of judicial work,” he said.
Returning to the digitalization process, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to which the Supreme Court adheres, like other constitutional institutions, the President of the Supreme Court recalled that the digitalization of judicial work is part of the strategic objectives of the State.
