The stand of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) at the Africa Lounge fair, organized from August 20 to 22 in Yokohama (Japan), aroused the interest of Japanese companies, an agency statement said on Friday.
Organized on the sidelines of the 9th International Conference of Tokyo on the development of Africa (Ticad 2025), in which the Minister of the Economy of Knowledge, start-ups and micro-enterprises took part, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, as representative of the President of the Republic,
Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this fair experienced the participation of 195 exhibitors representing African organizations and Japanese companies.
The AAPI stand has received the visit of many Japanese companies wishing to access the African market via Algeria, considered a pole of growth emerging in the global economy with promising investment opportunities for Japan, the press release said.
