“The regional selection tournament, a success on all levels”

The national tournament of regional football selections which ended on Wednesday in the Mediterranean village of Oran was “a success on all levels” having allowed the technicians to train the national selections of under 15s (U15) and 17s (U17), indicated the National Technical Director (DTN), Ameur Mansoul.
“This national tournament, organized over three days in the Mediterranean village of Oran, brought together more than 500 young players from the 2009 and 2010 categories, representing the nine wilaya leagues. The matches in these categories were supervised and supervised by the regional technical directors (DTR) as well as the national U17 technical staff,” Ameur Mansoul told the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) website. For him, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) deployed considerable human and logistical resources to ensure the success of the tournament of regional national selections in the 2009 and 2010 categories, stressing that “thanks to its structures within the national technical direction ( DTN), hundreds of operations to bring together young people in these categories were organized across the national territory. According to statements by regional technical directors, the selection process began at the municipal level, then at the wilaya level, leading to the regional selections. The Regional Technical Directors (DTR), in collaboration with the Wilaya Technical Directors, organized several tournaments to select the best elements and form a regional team capable of revealing local talents to the general public.
They also detailed, in interventions granted to FAF TV, the different stages of these operations and highlighted the commitment of the technicians to allow the children to show their abilities and distinguish themselves. It should be noted that this is the first time that a detection tournament has been held for the two age categories of 2009 and 2010. It is also the second after that of 2008 organized at the beginning of June.
