L’entrepreneuriat au cœur de la dynamique culturelle – Le Jeune Indépendant


The second edition of the National Fair for Arts and Heritage Students opened this Tuesday at Riad El Feth in Algiers. Held under the theme “Entrepreneurship and its role in boosting the cultural economy”, the Minister of Culture and Arts, Soraya Mouloudji, underlined the importance of openness to entrepreneurship to support and guide students from the sector towards the creation of start-ups and micro-enterprises.

A cooperation agreement between the Minister of Culture and Arts Soraya Mouloudji and Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid was signed with the aim of supporting students artistic sectors, particularly those from universities and other training institutes, in their entrepreneurial journey. It will facilitate their integration into the business world and thus contribute to the development of the cultural economy and the promotion of sustainable development.

This initiative aims to boost the national economy in general and the cultural economy in particular. In her speech, the minister affirmed that the integration of entrepreneurship in the cultural sector reflects the ministry’s desire to implement the directions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who called for supporting both entrepreneurship and digitalization. She insisted on the fact that this fair is part of the particular attention paid by the cultural sector to artistic training.

The minister also welcomed the recent initiatives taken by training institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts. These initiatives include the opening of postgraduate courses, the creation of research laboratories and the publication of specialized scientific journals.

Furthermore, Mouloudji highlighted the considerable efforts made in the national workshops, which lasted an entire year, to unify and revise the training programs within regional schools of music and visual arts.

She emphasized that the National Student Fair constitutes a fundamental entry for schools and institutes. C., aiming to promote educational performance and achieve real openness to their cultural, economic and social environment.
