Les condoléances de Tebboune – Le Jeune Indépendant

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolences this Saturday to Professor Rachid Bougherbal’s family, who died on Thursday, September 28. This loss deeply affects not only his relatives, but also the country’s medical and scientific community, to which he devoted his whole life. This was indicated by a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.

In his message, the Head of State praised the unfailing commitment of the deceased in the medical field, particularly in cardiology, where he distinguished himself as a reference. Professor Bougherbal notably chaired the National Commission for patients abroad for several years, a function in which he worked for the improvement of health care in Algeria.

President Tebboune expressed his sadness and paid tribute to a man who was a model of dedication and competence. He also asked God to give him his forgiveness and welcome him in his vast paradise.

In his message of condolences, the president expressed all his solidarity towards the family of Professor Bougherbal, stressing that “we belong to God and towards him we return”.

Algeria loses one of its eminent doctors and researchers.
