All human and material resources are mobilized to guarantee the success of the 4e Edition of the intra-African trade fair (IATF 2025). This was said this Sunday the Minister of Communication, Mohamed Meziane, calling the media to a strong mobilization in the support of this greater economic event on the African continent.
Large media coverage of the IATF is announced having regard to the interest expressed by the national and foreign press, as well as by experts. The Ministry of Communication has, in fact, received a total of 1,100 accreditation requests including 175 of the foreign press, according to the document of the Communication Department given this Sunday to the press, on the occasion of an information day organized at the International Center for Conferences (CIC), dedicated to preparations but also to the challenges of the IATF.
All the human and technical resources implemented in anticipation of the IATF, which Algeria must house from September 4 to 10, have been mentioned in detail, the objective being to make available to the media all the means necessary to accomplish their mission in the best conditions.
Intervening at the opening of this information day, marked by the presence of the commissioner of the 4e Edition of the IATF, Larbi Latreche, as well as the expert and adviser in Sustainable Strategy and Development Mouloud Khelif, the Minister of Communication called on the representatives of the national press to mobilize to guarantee the success of this event. He thus put forward the mobilization of all means to allow journalists to accomplish their mission and ensure optimal coverage of this major meeting.
The Minister also underlined the importance of this event which is able to strengthen the exchanges and economic integration of Africa but also to strengthen exchanges between African countries, especially within the framework of the ZLECAF.
The importance for Algeria to welcome this major event has also been put forward by the Minister of Communication, who stressed that this event is also an opportunity to promote the place of Algeria. This, he said, reflects and reaffirms Algeria’s commitment to strengthen cooperation and economic integration of the African continent. In addition to the economic aspect, Mohamed Meziane noted the particularity of this edition, which promises to be a platform for exchange between peoples and to lay the foundations for a common future.
