The measures of the President of the Republic welcomed
Moudaf
The Secretary General of the Dynamic Movement of Algerians in France (Moudaf), Nasser Khabat, welcomed the latest measures decided by the President of the Republic,
Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in favor of citizens established abroad, stressing that they reflect the interest he has in the national community abroad. In a statement to APS, Mr. Khabat affirmed that “the Moudaf, like all members of the community residing abroad, welcomes with enthusiasm the latest provisions announced by the President of the Republic , in particular those relating to the reduction of travel conditions for members of this community. Expressing his recognition for “all the measures taken in the interest of this community”, the secretary general of Moudaf noted that these new provisions “confirm the singular interest that the President of the Republic has with regard to the members of the national community established abroad. Under these measures, Algerian citizens residing abroad and holding valid foreign passports can, until October 31, 2024, enter and exit, exceptionally, the national territory without first obtaining a visa, in the following two cases: the presentation of a valid foreign passport, with a biometric national identity document, even if it is no longer valid, or the presentation of a valid foreign passport, with an expired Algerian biometric passport.
