The new government team has 34 ministers, including ten new ones, and three secretaries of state. Abdelmalek Tacherift, former member of the Nation Council, was appointed Minister of Moudjahidine and Beneaders. Malika Bendouda made her return to government as Minister of Culture and Arts. Zoheir Bouamama, who held the post of adviser to the President of the Republic, in charge of political affairs and relations with youth, civil society and political parties, was appointed Minister of Communication. The new government is settling in: Ms. Nadjiba Djilali took her duties yesterday as Minister of Relations with Parliament, replacing Ms. Kaouter Krikou, appointed Minister of the Environment and the Quality of Life. During the passing ceremony, Ms. Djilali wanted to thank the President of the Republic for “the great confidence he has placed in his person” by entrusting him with the management of the Ministry of Relations with Parliament.
On this occasion, Ms. Djilali said she was determined to pay the mission entrusted to her with “loyalty and dedication to the service of constitutional institutions”, to continue the achievements accomplished and to strengthen the process of building new Algeria “.
For her part, Ms. Krikou thanked the President of the Republic for the renewed confidence in him within the government, through her appointment at the head of the environment and the quality of life.
