They are groups scattered in all the car souks throughout the country and especially in eastern Algeria, they were able to take many new vehicles out of dealerships of all brands to rob the unfortunate father of families who is desperately looking to acquire a car for his children. “Samsaras” boast of having scammed nearly 90 million in the sale of a new car, an amount above its real sale price set by the State. And every week in these markets of shame, they continue to make their law by setting unimaginable and unthinkable prices on automobiles. The laissez-faire attitude of the security services and the non-existence of control in this third-world jungle gives them the audacity to control these markets. The only loser is always the Algerian citizen, it is he who pays for their great skid given the non-existence of new cars for sale by the State.
The low import of automobiles, which is only about a third, leaves the country lacking new cars.
Joint police and gendarmerie brigades should be tasked with carrying out regular raids on these souks selling cars to arrest these “samsaras”, scammers and thieves disguised as vehicle sellers.
Our neighbors like Tunisia or others do not have such unmanageable phenomena which ruin the lives of honest citizens, the Government must review its policy to put things right, because the forbidden always remains forbidden.
Indeed, as expected, the dominant Chery had launched its sale on a certain Thursday through its points of sale in our country and it is only in Algeria that we see these immoral and absurd practices on social networks especially on the Facebook and Youtube platform targeting the purchase of cars, particularly the popular Chery brand, which has just competed with other new vehicle brands.
This gangrene which is none other than the “samsaras” of modern times, otherwise car dealers, bleeds the public treasury and sucks the blood of poor citizens looking for a new car.
According to the latest news, we learn that this scum had launched incessant calls on social networks to buy biometric cards of citizens who have no income against a certain sum of money in order to be able to buy several Chery brand vehicles and then resell them at high prices in the second-hand car markets.
The director of this brand in Algeria Aimen Cheriat and the sales manager Nessrine Sahraoui are the first actors who denounce these odious practices and fight against these lawless scammers who use all improper and dirty means to weaken the Algerian state, its economy and its reputation and above all make the lives of Algerians very difficult, unable to own a car like everyone else in the world.
Ms. Sahraoui was very clear in her remarks to the media, saying: “We currently have 20 points of sale across the national territory. With us, to acquire a car, the customer and the dealer must sign a declaration on their honor indicating that the buyer can only buy another car after five years and for the dealer, it mentions that he will not have any relationship with the ”samsaras”. If he deals with them, the management will immediately withdraw his approval as specified in the specifications!”, she announced recently. It should be noted that other points of sale will open very soon in other wilayas.

The absence of a real traffic plan in our wilayas causes great chaos and anarchy on Algerian roads in addition to a remarkable absence of traffic police services who do not want to put order at the black spots. Scammers and specialists in vehicle trafficking never miss an opportunity to do criminal business, they are standing in front of “new” cars, disguised with false chassis numbers and false registration cards, which they resell at high prices.
Most vehicles have tires and plastic strips redone with a shimmering liquid and their mileage numbers rigged, several customers denounce to the press. Here in Annaba, dealers offer cars in good condition, well maintained but at prices higher than possible, since there is no control or sanction.
