“The State will be intransigent towards anyone who undermines the security of citizens and property”

Sayoud:

The Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud, affirmed, Thursday in Algiers, that the State will be intransigent against anyone who undermines the security of citizens and property, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Responding to an oral question during a plenary session at the National People’s Assembly (APN), on the creation of an urban security center in the commune of Ain Khadra, in the wilaya of M’sila, Mr. Sayoud underlined that “the revision of several legislations in recent years has had a positive impact in the reduction of crime, but unfortunately we have recently observed a resurgence of this phenomenon and the services of security are mobilized to counter all these excesses and take action against anyone who dares to attack the security of citizens and property, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic. The State attaches “great importance to maintaining security and tranquility throughout the national territory”, stressing that “several laws are being revised, in particular those relating to the strengthening of the protection of children, the fight against the consumption and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances, and the repression of all those who manipulate Algeria’s children”, in addition to “the opening of recruitment in the National Security in order to fill the gaps needs in terms of security coverage throughout the national territory,” he added.
