L’ONA vise à minimiser les fuites pour résoudre les défaillances

ONA aims to minimize leaks to resolve failures

Mostaganem

This initiative is part of a broader modernization strategy to reduce water leaks. And the objective of these renovation works initiated by the National Sanitation Office, and the emergency interventions aim to contain and minimize leaks to avoid any risk of contamination and discomfort for residents. In this context, teams from the National Sanitation Office (ONA) in the center of Mostaganem began interventions to resolve the problems of wastewater leaks across certain locations in the city of Mostaganem. These leaks, which posed a significant health risk for residents, were located in certain working-class neighborhoods, precisely at the entrance to the buildings. These wastewater leaks emanated from the specific evacuation pipes of these two buildings. ONA experts concluded that these pipes required urgent renovation work to permanently eliminate the leakage problems. ONA teams first located the leak points precisely and put in place temporary measures to seal the breaches. Pumps and other specialized equipment were used to control the flow of wastewater and prevent any further overflow. While waiting for the renovation work, ONA calls on residents to be vigilant and report any new leaks or anomalies observed.
