Mr. Ghrieb chairs the opening of the day of African diasporas

Responsible by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the acting Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, chaired, on Friday, at the International Center for Conferences (CIC) Abdelatif-Rahal, the opening of the work of the African diasporas day, organized within the framework of the 4th edition of the intra-African trade fair (IATF 2025) As of September 10.
This meeting, second of its kind at the continent, intervenes as part of the steps aimed at restoring and strengthening contacts between African diasporas abroad and their continent of origin.
It also reaffirms the major importance of the contribution of African diasporas and people of African descent to the development of the continent, as well as their eminent role in preserving close and strong ties between successive generations.
This meeting will be marked by debate sessions on themes related to the concerns of African diasporas and a reflection to go out with concrete and innovative proposals on the best ways capable of strengthening the role and contribution of African diasporas to the development and prosperity of the continent.
