Israel welcomed its first baby of 2026 just moments after the clock struck midnight. At 12:01 a.m., a baby boy was born at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, marking the very first birth of the new year in the country.
Proud parents Shira Leah and Uri Rosen, from the Dolav community, celebrated the joyful moment as they welcomed their son, seen here with the dedicated midwives who helped usher in both a new life and a new year.
