Mémorandum d’entente entre Alnaft et la PVEP – Le Jeune Indépendant

The National Agency for the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources (ALNAFT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnamese company “Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation (LTD “PVEP”) on investment and partnership opportunities in the field of hydrocarbons in Algeria. This was indicated on Wednesday in a press release from the agency.

This memorandum of understanding, signed on Monday at the headquarters of Alnaft, in the presence of its President, Mourad Beldjehem and the CEO of the Vietnamese company, Tran Hong Nam, constitutes “a platform for discussion on the possibilities of investment and partnership in the field of hydrocarbons in Algeria”, it is specified in the same press release.
“PVEP” is the upstream arm of Vietnamese oil and gas group PetroVietnam, which carries out the main exploration and production activities.
