Has the United States become a party to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine? This is now the case for Moscow.
Indeed, the Russians consider, since the attack on a beach in Sevastopol in Crimea causing six Russian civilian victims, that Washington provided the weapons which attacked the large port of the Black Sea, is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine .
The Biden administration, however powerless when it comes to forcing the Zionist entity to stop its attacks against the Gaza Strip, hastens to provide weapons and push the Ukronazi regime in kyiv to export the war to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Back to the facts. On June 23 at 12:15 Moscow time, Ukrainian troops attacked Sevastopol with five American ATACMS operational-tactical missiles equipped with fragmentation warheads. Russian anti-aircraft defense intercepted some, the fragmentation warhead of a fifth missile exploded in the air according to the RIA Novosti agency. Four civilians died, including two children.
According to the latest Russian government data, 151 civilians were injured and injured of varying severity, 82 people were hospitalized, including 27 children.
Peskov: American responsibility established
Moscow no longer has any illusions. “The involvement of the United States of America in hostilities, their direct involvement in hostilities which result in the death of Russian civilians, can of course only have consequences,” declared the spokesperson on Monday. of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov. He was responding to a question from journalists asking whether Moscow was considering retaliatory measures against Washington.
Dmitri Peskov does not beat around the bush. He describes the bombing as “barbaric”, before adding: “We see very well who is behind this. Last week, the president spoke about those who direct these missiles, absolutely complex technology, and who ensure these launches. They are not Ukrainians.”
For her part, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called on the UN secretariat to “look at the people killed by the Kiev regime because of American weapons on the beach and to condemn the act of terrorism.” Zakharova’s reaction is explained by the fact that previously the UN Secretary General’s Office, commenting on the Ukrainian bombings, limited itself to stating that “civilian casualties should be avoided.” A laconic comment which seems to absolve the terrorist assassins to call for minimizing the damage, particularly to civilians.
“Everything that happened was not a military action, but a despicable and heinous terrorist attack against our people, committed during an Orthodox holiday, like the massacre in Dagestan, which was carried out by extremists. The Bandera regime and crazy fanatics – are no different for us,” said Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
The former Russian president is no fool! And for good reason. Previous statements by Western leaders, American and European, who supported the use of weapons supplied by them against targets inside the Russian Federation, foreshadowed such a terrorist drift. The Ukronazi regime in kyiv, completely illegitimate after the end of Volodymyr Zelensky’s presidential mandate, is now falling into the policy of headlong flight, using and abusing increasingly rare Western support. Rare indeed, due to the exhaustion of Western economies and the depreciation of the pro-Ukrainian argument, relegated to second place by the Zionist massacres in Ghaza.
Towards retaliatory measures
In Moscow, the affair is only just beginning. The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that it had informed American diplomat Lynne Tracy that “the United States, which is waging a hybrid war against Russia, has become a party to the conflict” in Ukraine and that “measures retaliation would follow.
The American ambassador in Moscow had been summoned earlier in the day.
In Washington they were happy to mess up.
The Pentagon said it was aware of reports of the bombing of Sevastopol by the American ATACMS, but the department had “nothing to say on this subject”.
On the ground, the facts refute American evasions. Indeed, the American RQ-4B Global Hawk reconnaissance drone was flying over the airspace above the Black Sea during the attack on Sevastopol. According to the Flightradar portal, from 12:05 p.m. it began to move rapidly south towards Turkey.
The attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on the city took place at 12:15 Moscow time.
What will Russia do?
President Vladimir Putin set the scene. “Those who supply these weapons declare that they are not fighting, but I say it, we reserve the right to strike other points in the world,” he warned on June 20 during a conference press in Vietnam. “They deliver weapons to Ukraine and then say they don’t control anything and they don’t know how they are used. We can say the same thing: we can deliver weapons elsewhere and then say that we control nothing. Let them think about it,” continued the Russian president.
The latter had already warned on June 5 that the Russian response would be “symmetrical”. Speaking on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, President Putin said that “if anyone considers it possible to deliver such missiles to the combat zone to strike our country […], why should we not have the right to deliver our weapons of the same class to other regions of the world to strike the sensitive sites of the countries that are doing this against Russia? “.
The terrorist attack in Sevastopol, concomitant with another terrorist attack in Dagestan in the Caucasus, causing the death of 15 police officers and four civilians, targeted in an Orthodox church and a synagogue, is clearly part of the war of subversion against the federation of Russia. The latter, which shows restraint, now displays the option of a counterattack of the same magnitude.
Will the American administration be able to prevent an escalation that it itself caused? The question needs to be asked.
