A movement in the ranks of senior executives of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) was made on Thursday by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This is what this institution indicated in a press release.
“In accordance with the provisions of article 92 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered, Thursday June 20, 2024, to carry out a movement in the ranks of senior executives of the General Directorate of National Security” , we read in the press release.
This movement comes “on the proposal of the Director General of National Security, and after the approval of the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning”, it was specified.
At the central level, Police controllers Zerrouk Tidjani, Driad Areslane, Laouar Kamel and Bou Ahmed Boubekeur were respectively appointed to the position of Director of General Intelligence, Director of Public Security, Director of Border Police, and Director of Studies. at the DGSN.
The Divisional Commissioners, Kadaoui Khaled, Bouarriche Zahra, Mechane Abdelhak and Bennacer Boumediene were respectively appointed to the position of Director of Studies at the DGSN, Deputy Director of Studies and Regulations at the General Police Directorate, Head of Central service for the fight against organized crime, while the Principal Commissioner, Thabet Hilal Fathallah Sidahmed, was appointed Deputy Director of Personnel.
At the wilaya security level, four police inspectors were promoted. Sidhoum Hassan was appointed head of security for the wilaya of Mascara, Douissi Djillali head of security for the wilaya of Boumerdès, Hachlaf Ali head of security for the wilaya of Constantine, Tahouri Djilali head of security for the wilaya of Ouargla, Rafaa Debbah Rachid head of Security of the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj.
Other promotions concerned Divisional Commissioners. Thus, Ait Othmane Abdelkader was appointed head of Security of the wilaya of El M’ghaier, Berrai Salim head of Security of the wilaya of Bouira, Ben Ahmadou Nacereddine head of Security of the wilaya of Jijel, Bettioui Abdelghani head of Security of the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi, Chala Rachid head of Security of the wilaya of Skikda, Ameur Ammour head of Security of the wilaya of Béni Abbes.
The same promotion affected Fodhil Amar who was appointed head of Security of the wilaya of Ghardaïa, Beldjaatit Abdelhamid head of Security of the wilaya of Ilizi, Zerg El-Ein Hakim head of Security of the wilaya of Tlemcen, Rebai Abdelkader head of Security of the wilaya of Tébessa, Moumni Réda head of Security of the wilaya of Tamanrasset, Kechout Farid, appointed head of Security of the wilaya of Ouled Djellal and Bouchriet Ahmed head of the wilaya of Relizane.
