Hundreds of Bnei Akiva teens and local residents rallied outside the Goldin family home, singing “Acheinu” and waving flags in a quiet, powerful tribute after Hadar’s return. The gathering swelled into the street as students offered prayers and comfort to Leah and Simcha Goldin. 

Hours earlier, forensic experts at Abu Kabir officially identified the remains returned from Gaza as Lt. Hadar Goldin. Outside their home, the family thanked the IDF—“and no one else”—for bringing their son back for burial. 

The moment resonated nationwide: 4,118 days after his body was seized in Rafah, the Goldins’ long fight to bring Hadar home reached its end. Youth movement turnout carried special weight—Hadar was a beloved Bnei Akiva counselor in his hometown, remembered for his leadership and warmth.
