Around twenty land bases will be made available to the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) in the coming days, with a view to their introduction on the investor’s digital platform, he said. we learned from the services of the wilaya.

As part of its contribution to the digital investment platform, launched by the AAPI for the benefit of investors wishing to benefit from industrial land across different wilayas, the wilaya of Blida has, in recent days, the introduction of five plates with an area varying between 5,000 m2 and 1 ha within the said platform, indicated a source from the wilaya.

This same platform will be reinforced in the days to come with 15 other land bases with an area of ​​5,000 m2 to 2 ha, recovered as part of State property, the same source added. The authorities of Blida have expressed the wish that the investment projects planned for the establishment at the level of these bases be adapted to the vocation of this wilaya, endowed with significant industrial, agricultural and tourist resources, while contributing to the creation jobs for young people.

On another level, the wilaya services announced the launch of a study for the rehabilitation of large public squares with a view to making them real vacation and relaxation areas for families. These include public squares in the towns of Blida and Boufarik, pending the extension of this operation to the rest of the public squares in the wilaya.

Concerning the town of Boufarik, the APC has recovered a large square in the city center, the latter having been squatted for years by illicit sellers who have made this square a market where health and disorder reign, and this with the knowledge and in full view of all authorities. It took the intervention of the wali for these merchants to benefit from places in a covered market appropriate to their activity, close to the Ibn Toumert high school.

According to one of the elected officials of the APC of Boufarik, this square will be redeveloped into a green space for relaxation for Boufarik citizens. In the same perspective of development, the wilaya benefited from a significant envelope of more than a billion dinars, for the 2024 financial year, intended to finance 114 projects, work on which will begin before June 30, indicated the secretary general of the wilaya, Kamel Hadji, during the first ordinary session of the Wilaya Popular Assembly (APW).

He added that these projects, whose completion period is set at one year, will affect various sectors directly related to the improvement of the living conditions of citizens, including opening up, drinking water supply (AEP) and ‘education.
