On July 31, during a missile attack on Kyiv Oblast, Sosians again attacked with a KN-23 missile produced by the DPRK, which did not reach the target
According to the publication, it was launched made in the direction of Bila Tserkva, but the rocket fell on the territory of Kyiv region, probably after an explosion in the air.
At the site of the fall of this missile, fragments with markings were found that correspond to the previously discovered remains of KN-23 ballistic missiles that the russians used to strike Ukraine in early 2024.
Defense Express noted that the last recorded case of the use of North Korean-made KN-23 ballistic missiles by the Russians was recorded on February 27, 2024.
Thus, it turns out that the Russian invaders have resumed the use of long-range missile weapons from the DPRK after a pause that lasted 5 months.
According to the latest launch statistics, more than half of the North Korean rockets launched by the missile did not reach their target.
