🇨🇳❌🇨🇳 — On November 17, 2024, outside the G20 events in Rio de Janeiro, clashes broke out between members of the Chinese diaspora in Brazil, as the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, arrived at the event
➡️ Brazilians who were peacefully demonstrating during the arrival of the Chinese delegation for the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rio de Janeiro were harassed by pro-Chinese Communist Party (CCP) militants, which are allegedly associated with the regime in the Asian country.
➡️ A reporter from Epoch Times Brazil reporting on the event was also intimidated.
➡️ The Brazilian protesters were a small group who came together to raise public awareness about religious persecution and human rights violations in China.
➡️ They are practitioners of Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa — a peaceful meditation practice that has been brutally suppressed in China by its communist authorities since 1999, when the number of adherents surpassed the number of Communist Party members under accusations of it being a “Reactionary cult”
