The Ooredoo Telecommunications Group has made public its financial results for the first nine months of 2025, showing positive indicators for Ooredoo Algeria compared to the same period of the year 2024.
Ooredoo Algeria has maintained its strong growth trajectory, reaping the benefits of strategic investments aimed at further expanding and strengthening its network nationwide.
In figures, Ooredoo Algeria’s revenues reached 88.3 billion Algerian dinars in the first nine months of 2025, compared to 77.3 billion Algerian dinars compared to the same period of 2024, an increase of 14.2%. The customer base reached 15 million customers at the end of September 2025 compared to 14.49 million subscribers at the end of the same period of 2024, an expansion of 3.4%.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and provisions on fixed assets (EBITDA) stood at 40.5 billion Algerian dinars, compared to 33.4 billion for the same period in 2024, an increase of 21.1%.
During the first three quarters of 2025, the company invested nearly 19.4 billion Algerian dinars, compared to 10.8 billion in the same period of 2024, an increase of 80.3%.
When these results were announced, the General Manager of Ooredoo Algeria, Mr. Roni Thome, declared: “The first nine months of 2025 were marked by sustained strategic momentum for Ooredoo Algeria, illustrating the solidity and relevance of our ambitious vision. Thanks to targeted and continuous investments, our national network extension and infrastructure modernization program has made it possible to consolidate our presence across the entire territory, particularly within the framework of the Universal Telecommunications Service (SUT), by connecting the most remote regions and those with low demographic density. With a view to the upcoming launch of 5G in Algeria, Ooredoo has undertaken significant technological investments intended to deploy a new generation infrastructure, capable of meeting the growing needs for very high speed and large-scale connectivity. Faithful to its commitment to innovation and excellence, Ooredoo Algeria reaffirms its determination to continue, with rigor and commitment, the implementation of its strategic roadmap in the service of its customers, its partners and digital development in Algeria.
The financial results for the first nine months of 2025 demonstrate Ooredoo’s desire to further contribute to the development of the mobile telephony sector in Algeria, by accelerating the digitalization of its services and solutions on the market in order to enrich the digital experience of its customers which remain at the heart of its priorities.
