Ooredoo and Football Challenge Academy launch the “Tawahood-Foot” project

For the inclusion of autistic children through football

A corporate citizen committed to society, Ooredoo supports the “Football Challenge Academy” and launches the “Tawahood-Foot” program for autistic children. Launched this Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Staoueli (Algiers), this program aims to promote the inclusion of autistic children by promoting their development of social skills through team sport, particularly football, and to raise awareness among the general public of the needs and challenges faced by children with autism.
Indeed, with training and football initiation methods adapted to the different forms of autism of each child, specialized coaches as well as child psychiatrists work in close collaboration with autistic and neurotypical children, to guarantee their participation and their progress in the program. Thus ensuring better inclusion of autistic children and active participation in their development through sport.
