Details: He noted that “upon Ukraine’s urgent request”, the OSCE will discuss Russia’s escalating use of intermediate-range ballistic missiles in its aggression against Ukraine at a special joint meeting of the Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Co-operation.

Quote: “Russia poses the greatest threat to security in the OSCE region. Its unacceptable actions demonstrate that only Moscow seeks to expand the war. They must be condemned and stopped. We will use every international platform and mechanism to increase global pressure on the aggressor.”
The OSCE remains one of the few pan-European organisations where Russia retains membership. However, since the organisation requires consensus for all decisions, Moscow continues to block any resolutions it opposes.
