The Independent National Electoral Authority announced yesterday, Tuesday, in a press release, the opening of the periodic review period of the electoral lists from Monday, October 20 until next Tuesday, November 18.
The same source specified that “in accordance with the provisions of Order No. 21-01 of 26 Rajab 1442, corresponding to March 10, 2021, relating to the organic law relating to the electoral regime, modified and supplemented, in particular its articles 62 and 65, the Independent National Election Authority announces to all Algerian citizens the opening and closing of the periodic review of the electoral lists, from Monday October 20 2025 to Tuesday November 18, 2025.
The independent authority responsible for elections invited “citizens not registered on the electoral lists, aged eighteen (18) years old on December 31, 2025 and meeting the conditions required by law, to request their registration on the electoral list of their municipality of residence”.
She also invited “people registered on the electoral lists who have changed their place of residence to request their registration on the electoral list of their new municipality of residence”.
As for citizens registered on the electoral lists who have changed their address within the municipality of their place of residence or whose personal data contains material errors, the Independent National Electoral Authority invited them to “request their update on the electoral list of the municipality of their place of residence”.
She specified that citizens must “go to the headquarters of the municipal delegation of the independent authority of their place of residence and submit a request, as appropriate, accompanied by an identity document and proof of address, from 9 a.m. (09:00) in the morning to 4 p.m. (4:00 p.m.) every day of the week except Friday and Saturday”.
The same authority indicated that “citizens can access the website of the independent authority to verify their registration or send requests for registration, deletion or updating of their personal data via the following link: https://services.ina-elections.dz”.
Likewise, “Algerian citizens residing abroad must go to Algerian diplomatic or consular representations to request their registration on the electoral lists according to the same conditions”.
