The Ministry of National Education has announced the opening of the digital platform for the recruitment of contract teachers, for the 2025/2026 school year, in the three levels of primary, medium and secondary education. Recruitment concerns holders of university degrees, all sectors combined, pending the national competition scheduled for December 2025.
Registrations will be carried out exclusively online, via the digital platform, from August 25 to noon until August 31 at midnight. The supervision will put this digital platform into service from this Monday to facilitate the filing of their remote candidacy files without having to move to academies.
Applicants will have to submit their files including a copy of the diploma in the required specialty, a copy of the residence card as well as proof of the national service, valid on the date of installation.
From September 4, applicants will receive the results of the first selection through their personal accounts. The candidates selected, within the limits of the available positions, will then have to choose their schools between September 4 and 6. The list of final assignments will be published on September 9 on the same platform.
Admitted teachers will have to join their assignment establishments from September 14 to sign their installation report. Any candidate who will not arise before September 16 will be considered to be resigned and his post will be assigned to the next in the ranking.
In addition, the supervision has published a detailed list of the diplomas required for recruitment in certain categories, available on the official website of the Ministry of Education. The department of Mohamed Seghir Saâdaoui insisted on the principle of specialization: each material will be entrusted to holders of the corresponding diploma. In the absence of exact profiles, the choice will be made on the nearest diploma.
The applicant for primary and average cycles must hold a license in higher education or a recognized equivalent diploma. Regarding the candidate for the secondary cycle, the acceptance of candidacies concerns only holders of master’s degrees engineering diploma in the teaching specialty, or a recognized diploma equivalent.
This process comes in, it should be noted, after the verification of the needs of educational establishments, the finalization of teachers’ appointments participating in the transfer movement as well as the selection of candidates who have successfully completed professional examinations and training programs for graduates of higher schools for teachers.
It should be noted that the insufficiency of teachers persists this year again, which has prompted the ministry of tutelage to resort this year to recruit contract workers. The operation, which aims to cover the supervision needs expressed in the three levels (primary, medium and secondary), concerns holders of university degrees, all sectors combined.
After the registration stage, the Ministry of National Education will proceed, after studying the files filed on the platform, to the publication of the list of candidates previously admitted with the mention “accepted”.
Access to the coveted post will be done according to criteria set beforehand by the ministry, namely the seniority of the diploma, the experience in teaching, the merit, the conformity of the diplomas with the position to be filled and finally the proximity to the workplace. Note that this mention means that the digital file of the applicant is eligible to occupy a teaching position and, as a result, is selected to access the classification list in order of merit. To this end, directives are given to the directions of the education of wilayas to control and verify the authenticity of the documents provided by the candidates concerned.
This recruitment operation, according to the Ministry of Education, will also obey another condition. This is the number of positions available and the needs expressed by the various directions of national education.
