More than two thousand families received their new homes this Thursday in Oran on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of November 1st as part of a vast program intended for the Western capital.
Oran benefited from an overall quota of 2,072 units, distributed between 973 public rental housing (LPL) and 1,099 subsidized promotional housing (LPA). This massive distribution is part of the national housing policy implemented on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and supervised by the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City.
It aims to realize the State’s commitments in terms of social equity and improving the living conditions of citizens.
The official ceremony for handing over the award decisions was held in the conference room of the large pole Abdelhamid Ben Badis mosque. It was chaired by Mr. El Aidani Foudhil, secretary general of the wilaya in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Housing and several local officials.
