More than 300,000 people will flee their country in 2025

South Sudan:

At least 300,000 South Sudanese have fled their country in 2025, largely due to the intensification of the internal armed conflict pitting supporters of President Salva Kiir against those of Vice President Riek Machar, currently suspended and on trial for “crimes against humanity”, and the high rate of poverty, a United Nations press release said on Monday.
