The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Algeria welcomed the “historic” position of Algeria in favor of the Palestinian cause, stressing that the political and diplomatic position expressed by the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the national community abroad and African affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, during the conference on the two -state solution, held Monday in New York, constitutes “a living illustration of the noble principles Algerian policy and its commitment alongside law and justice ”.

On this occasion, the embassy recalled that “Palestine will never forget that the recognition, on November 15, 1988, of the Palestinian State by the Algerian Republic constituted the cornerstone which led to current recognition by 159 states”.
