Reception of the remaining tranche of the penetrating project of the East-West Highway scheduled for late 2026

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructures, Lakhdar Rekhroukh, announced on Tuesday in Mascara, that the rest of the project to carry out the penetrating the east-west motorway of the second section (between Hacine and Mascara), will be received in December 2026.

At a press conference held on the sidelines of his inspection visit to the wilaya, made jointly with the Minister of Transport Said Sayoud, Mr. Rekhroukh said that “5 km from this section will be delivered during the first quarter of next year, which will bring the project to be made at 75 %”.
