Response to negative reactions about the situation in Berrouaghia

Following my article ” – Berrouaghia: absence of repeated control and manipulation of local projects”, published on August 20, 2025 (page 5) in daily life the new “Republic”, certain reactions of dissatisfaction were heard from local officials, calling into question the veracity of my words, in particular the first official of the commune, which means that “to tell the truth, it is necessary to leave the country”.
As a journalist committed to transparency and objective information, while respecting the ethics and ethics of the profession, I want to provide concrete evidence to support my assertions. The photos I have shown, the deplorable state of the roads in the locality of Berrouaghia.
These photos taken clearly illustrate the problem. The roads are in poor condition, with pupil nests and cracks that make traffic difficult and dangerous. Due to this road problem, the evacuation eyes not maintained pose major health risks. In addition, in other photos, we can see the deplorable state of the Chouhada monument, peace to their souls, symbol of our independence. The degradation of these historic sites is an affront to the memory of those who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our nation.
In addition, the granting of a plate for the construction of a CHOUHADA cemetery has been dragging on for more than three (3) years without significant advances. This situation confirms the inability of those responsible to honor the memories of our heroes. The application of law 15-08 concerning illicit construction is also problematic. Certain dwellings have been demolished while other files remain at the bottom of the drawers, testifying to an unequal and unfair application of the law. The anarchic parking lot of trucks of heavyweight and utility vehicles on sidewalks even more complicates the life of pedestrians, highlighting a lack of regulation and respect for public space and the most serious in all this, the inappropriate baptization of a placet in the name of two APC elected officials who aroused lively indignation among citizens. The appropriation of public spaces for personal purposes by elected officials in office is an unacceptable drift. These visual and factual evidence corroborates the testimonies of citizens who feel abandoned. The citizens of Berrouaghia deserve concrete actions and tangible results. Speeches are no longer enough. It is time to take action to meet the legitimate expectations of the population.
I invite the first manager of the executive of the wilaya, Mr. Wali, to come and see the situation on the ground for himself and to take the necessary measures to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Berrouaghia. Transparency and commitment are essential to regain the confidence of citizens and ensure fair development of the municipality.
