The first group of Algerian pilgrims returned from the Holy Places this Thursday afternoon, after having fulfilled the fifth pillar of Islam for the 2024 season. On their arrival at the Houari-Boumediene international airport in Algiers, a welcome warmth was reserved for these pilgrims by their families and representatives of the sectors who participated in the organization of the pilgrimage.
The deputy director of information at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Mohamed Zeghdani, welcomed the reception conditions of this first group of 300 pilgrims, while awaiting the arrival of two other groups later in the daytime. Mr. Zeghdani recalled that everything had been done to enable Algerian pilgrims to perform the hajj in the best conditions, welcoming the good organization of the operation.
Many pilgrims were keen to salute the means implemented by the Algerian State to enable them to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam in the best conditions, praying to Almighty God to grant Algeria and its people prosperity. and progress.
