⚡️🇺🇸🇳🇬🏴 Reuters: The Nigerian government confirmed U.S. strikes targeted two ISIS linked camps in the Bauni forest of Sokoto State in northwest Nigeria.
The camps house foreign fighters attempting to infiltrate from the Sahel region in order to carry out large scale attacks in the region.
The strike used 16 GPS-guided precision munitions from U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drones. No civilian casualties due to the strike were reported.
