🇷🇺🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷Russia has sent a signal to the United States calling on it to refrain from striking Iran, the Israeli television channel Kan 11 reported.

According to sources involved in contacts between Moscow and Washington, “this is not a threat, but an attempt to dissuade President Donald Trump from making a decision to attack.”

Sources also told Kan News that Trump may ultimately refuse to engage in military action against Iran and will continue to rely on diplomatic channels.

At the same time, defense officials acknowledge that it is unclear whether Trump’s two-week deadline for making a decision should be trusted. One Israeli source called Israel’s current military achievements “significant and advanced,” but noted that there is no political end in sight and plans for its future course remain unclear.

Without US participation, Israel’s operation against Iran could last several more weeks, while with America the objectives could be achieved much faster, the TV channel writes.
