Russian missile carrying submarine sent to the bottom of the sea.
Yesterday, in the port of temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the submarine Rostov-on-Don was attacked.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as a result of the hit, she sank on the spot. Four Triumph air defense missile launchers were also significantly damaged.
The estimated cost of the submarine is $300 million.
The B-237 Rostov-on-Don submarine (NATO reporting name: Kilo class) is one of four submarines capable of using Caliber missiles.
“Rostov-on-Don” was put into operation on 26 December 2014. On 13 September 2023, as a result of a Ukrainian cruise missile attack, the ship received significant damage, after which it went for repairs.
It turns out like in the good old “Sea Battle”: wounded – killed.
