Russians bring 34,000 Russian textbooks to occupied Kherson Oblast

Ukraine’s National Resistance Center has said the Russian invaders have brought 34,000 Russian textbooks into the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast.

Details: The NRC noted that, in total, the Russian occupiers plan to bring over 100,000 copies of “propaganda waste paper” to the region.

The NRC expects that another 19,000 books will soon be brought.

Quote: “It should be noted that Russian schools on the TOT [temporary occupied territpries] perform the role of brainwashing and are designed to change the self-identification of Ukrainian children within the framework of the policy of genocide. Therefore, the role of parents in raising children in the region is increasing.”

Background:

• The Russian occupying forces are actively conducting “military and patriotic” education of children in the occupied territories of Ukraine with the goal of then recruiting them into the Russian Armed Forces.
