Saidal and Madar Holding engage in strategic health

A clinic specializing in cell therapy in two years

Placed as a strategic and revolutionary project, the country’s largest pharmaceutical group, Saidal, and the Madar Holding group joined, together, in the construction of the first clinic specializing in the implantation and restoration of the organs of the human body, in particular of the transplants, advanced cell therapy, in Algiers. Present for this important event, unique of its kind in Algeria, the two ministers, respectively of the pharmaceutical industry, Ouacim Kouidri, and Industry, Sifi Ghrieb, said, the day before yesterday in Algiers, their ravishment of attending the first convention paraphotor by the pharmaceutical group Saidal and Madar Holding by signing a partnership agreement From a cell therapy clinic to the new smart city of Sidi Abdellah in Algiers. The Convention was initialed by the CEOs of the two groups, respectively Nabila Benygzer Ouaret, of Saidal, and Charaf-Eddine Amara, from Madar Holding, at the Saidal production site in El Harrach, in the presence of the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Ouacim Kouidri, and the Minister of Industry, Sifi Ghrieb. At an estimated cost of 65 million euros, this strategic project will become the medical tourism center, just as it will allow Algerian patients to treat themselves to Algeria and avoid going abroad, it also has the ambition to offer care at a cost much lower than those practiced abroad.
According to the two groups, the revolutionary project should be completed within 18 to 24 months, with an initial capacity of 100 beds, then extended to other wilayas. Intervening on the occasion, the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Ouacim Kouidri, praised “a strategic project approved by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune”, stressing that this project is part of “efforts aimed at guaranteeing the country’s health security and offering citizens access to innovative treatments, in particular therapies based on stem cells and cells immune “.
The Minister of Industry, Sifi Ghrieb, has focused on the strategic nature of this technology, affirming that “the country mobilizes all its skills, inside and outside, to ensure its success”, while adding that the project will associate several ministerial departments, including those of health, labor, industry and the pharmaceutical industry. “The objective is to democratize costly care abroad and to integrate Algeria into the global network of advanced therapies,” he said, announcing the upcoming creation of a higher council for the development of advanced therapies, including in particular cell therapy. For his part, the ex-president of the FAF, Charaf-Eddine Amara, described this partnership as a “strategic investment vision”, stressing that he is also part of “a desire to strengthen health security and guarantee the country’s medical independence”. It should be remembered, this new agreement signed by the two public groups comes after a first partnership concluded this year between Saidal, Madar Holding and the Scientific Research Group (AGERP) for the creation of a Research Center in Microbiology and the development of new human and veterinary vaccines.
