The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Sayoud, called upon, the day before yesterday in Algiers, in pursuit of efforts with the same determination and the same commitment in order to achieve the objectives set. Petitting the accent, said a press release from the ministry, on the need to adopt a practical approach, based on seriousness and a strong will, to accelerate expectations, giving clear directions and instructions to managers and sector officials.
It was, said the same source, during a coordination meeting he chaired, devoted to monitoring the situation in the transport sector and the examination of future action mechanisms.
A meeting held at the headquarters of the ministry in the presence of general and general presidents (CEO), directors general of establishments under guardianship, as well as executives in the sector.
This is, the same source has continued the first meeting held by the Minister since taking office at the head of the department in its new configuration, with the aim of establishing an increased dynamic and strengthening efficiency in the management of infrastructure and establishments in the sector.
“During this meeting, which is part of the establishment of a greater dynamic and improving the effectiveness of the management of the various structures and establishments under the ministry, the Minister praised the positive results carried out, in particular in the fields of maritime, air and rail transport, as well as the sustained and regular monitoring of the terrestrial transport file”, added the same source.
Expressing his confidence in the capacity of the executives of the sector to meet the challenges, the Minister praised the efforts made by the CEOs, the Directors General and the Managers, calling them for perseverance and collective action in order to obtain concrete results at the service of citizens and the sector, noted the same source.
Last Monday, Saïd Sayoud took on his duties as Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, replacing Brahim Merad, appointed Minister of State, in charge of the inspection of state and local authorities, as part of the appointment of the new government, on Sunday by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to whom he expressed his gratitude In his person in order to occupy this position, which will allow us, he said during the passing ceremony, to continue our efforts in the service of the country and the citizen in the best conditions.
The Minister undertook to work for the modernization of public services, both central and local, thanks to the combination of the efforts of all executives in the sector to serve the citizen and respond to his aspirations, through the support of local authorities and the mobilization of all their energies, as well as by the valuation of their resources in favor of an effective development dynamic capable of reducing disparities, encouraging local solidarity and harmonious throughout the national territory.
