German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who is on a visit to China, said that at the beginning of the negotiations with the Chinese leader Xi Jinping, he will raise the issue of how to establish a just peace in Ukraine.

Xi Jinping, in turn, emphasized the importance of Sino-German ties as the world faces “an increasing number of challenges and risks.” He added that the two countries should “come together to bring greater certainty” at the international level.
