“Hitting up to the expectations of peoples”
Ms. SELMA MALIKA HADDADI at IATF 2025
Intervening at the official opening ceremony of the IATF 2025, this Thursday at the CIC Abdelatif-Rahal d’Algiers, the Algerian Ms. Selma Malika Haddadi, vice-president of the African Union Commission, insisted on the urgent need to “further energize the inter-African trade to get up against the expectations of peoples”.
While regretting the fact that the achievements are still modest: “Our actions are not up to our commitments,” she said, Selma Malika Haddadi spoke of a number of projects having to materialize between the African Commission and several countries on the continent, including Algeria in collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy of Knowledge, start-ups and micro-enterprises.
Ms. Haddadi has emphasized the importance of “boosting African entrepreneurship in innovation, especially in the direction of women and young people, for better economic integration”.
