Working session between the Algerian parliamentary delegation and the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

A working session bringing together the Algerian parliamentary delegation taking part in the “Braga” forum and the Finnish MP, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Ms. Pia Kauma, was organized in Portugal, said the day before yesterday Saturday in a press release from the National People’s Assembly (APN). Organized last Thursday by the APN deputy, Abdelwahab Yakoubi, this session addressed “the most important questions facing the world today, especially as the emphasis was placed on the imperative of combining the efforts to confront it, particularly with regard to the Zionist aggression and the genocidal war waged by the Zionist Entity in Gaza and in all the occupied Palestinian territories,” we read in the press release.
Mr. Yakoubi placed emphasis, during this session, on “strengthening the relationship with Algeria and supporting its major efforts to combat organized crime, human trafficking, securing the southern shore of the Mediterranean, as well as on the development of parliamentary cooperation, with a view to contributing effectively to finding solutions to ongoing disputes and conflicts,” adds the press release.
The meeting also constituted, continues the same source, an opportunity for the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which includes representatives of 57 States, with a view to “highlighting the activation of the Algerian presence within of this organization.
