🇺🇸🇯🇵🇮🇴🚫🇮🇷❗️ — Six U.S. Air Force F-16CM Fighting Falcons from the 13th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Wing, based at Misawa Air Base in northern Japan, were relocated Monday to Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
▶️The transfer was supported by several KC-135R/T Stratotankers operating out of Kadena Air Base.
▶️The F-16CM aircraft are equipped for “Wild Weasel” operations missions focused on Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), designed to detect and neutralize hostile radar and missile systems.
