The Algerian Road Operating Company (Sogral) announced, the day before yesterday, a series of measures at the bus stations. In particular, said a Sogral press release, the intensification of travelers’ transport services across the country and the launch of new digital services for the booking of tickets, as part of the measures taken aimed at ensuring a successful social back to school at the level of the road stations. Specifying that these measures, taken on the occasion of the school year 2025-2026, are part of the implementation of the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport.

But also, added the same source, the official commissioning of an round-trip ticket acquisition service from the departure stations, or tickets for remote relatives, as well as the launch of the ticket purchase service via mobile phone, via the ‘Wimpay’ ‘service.
Finally, the same source reported on the provision of vocational training and learning centers, the internal and external spaces of the bus stations in order to raise awareness of young people about the sectors and new specialties offered and to explain the registration methods.

Last Sunday, the tram operating company (SETRAM) announced the implementation of new schedules for the Algiers tram.
