Soufiane Djilali démissionne – Le Jeune Indépendant


After fourteen years to the presidency of Jil Jadid, Soufiane Djilali announced this Wednesday her resignation, calling for a renewal of management. In an open letter to activists, he said that an extraordinary congress will be summoned to freely designate the next party president, while claiming that he will continue to invest in the fight of ideas.

According to the letter, Soufiane Djilali stressed that the future management team “will be responsible for continuing the development of the party and prolonging its fight”. Confident in his capacity, he believes that she will be able to breathe new life into collective action. He also clarified that he now wishes to devote himself to the fight of ideas, while letting out a new direction: “If I leave the presidency, I do not leave the fight. »»

According to him, Jil Jadid was to embody a deep desire to renew political practice by based it on principles and values ​​which would allow the construction of an authentic, responsible, fair and inventive nation.

In this circumstances, the founder of the party recalls that he and his companions had decided to restrict the president’s mandate to two ordinary terms. In this spirit, Jil Jadid formed “a host of high -quality executives” and has acquired a social project, one of the few that is proposed to Algerians, a government program, founding texts and democratic bodies making him a model of transparency, still according to him.

In the same vein, Soufiane Djilali warns against major challenges that await Algeria, whether geopolitical, security, diplomatic, economic or societal “. To face it, he deems urgent to “restore confidence between the leaders themselves on the one hand and between the constituted power and the people on the other hand”.

In this context, Soufiane Djilali explains that her decision to leave the president of the party is part of a new stage of her commitment. “For 36 years, I have alternated my efforts between action and reflection. Today, it is our duty to everyone to open a large and inclusive field of reflection and dialogue to propose a vision on the future of our country, ”he writes. As for him, he says he wants to devote himself now, above all, to the intellectual battle and promote the accession of a new party leadership, while stressing that his departure from the presidency does not mean the end of his commitment.
