As part of the improvement of the urban character, in concomitance, the inhabitants and the summer visitors take more and more and discover happily every summer and in anticipation of the preparations linked to the summer season, like other coastal cities of the country, Souk El Tenine redids its urban areas upstream and around the seat of the town hall, in depth in a new skin. Ancestral accommodated, this time notwithstanding work on the demolition, renovation and development of urban, green spaces and the pruning of trees are ardently undertaken at the heart of the ancient placette and upstream of the seat of the municipal building.
Known since the colonial era by its legendary source of inexhaustible water in the center of the souk where any passenger is quenched with satisfaction, this ancestral esplanade, today, has been transformed into an admirable green space which offers a prosperous image in terms of embellishment and renovation of the facade of the municipal seat and its urban proximities.
The ancient natural trees in decoration which provide shadow to tempting passengers to rest on the benches erected on the spot, are meticulously maintained and maintained. So much the better ! These redeveloped urban sectors and their immediate entourage seem today more loved and nidified.
Nevertheless, with its current concerted rhythm in terms of urban extension, Souk El Tenine presents itself in a characterized and green image and a water jet decoration making the places once unpleasant, very appreciable and discernible.
With the exception of the share of housing located at its exit to Sétif which offers an unusual and regrettable image and the state of the access of the ancient placette which require a repair in asphalting, Souk El Tenine, tries as best they can, to redo a new skin.
This coastal city around the Mediterranean challenges local authorities to review their plan by formalizing urban planning tools such as the development scheme, the development plan and that of urban development, the cadastral study and finally the land use plan. An act of bravery that the municipal territory is inserted in the profits generated by the local or strategic scheme of the national territory. The creation of economic and social infrastructure is exclusively of its competence and under its responsibility. The locality offers opportunities on tourist, agricultural and youth levels. The supremacy of domestic businesses plays heavily on the disadvantage of the degree of development of the city. As an illustrative basis, the high demand in terms of accommodation and catering in summer when thousands of summer visitors pass there, require a reflection and the real care of this tourism and youth sector. The creation of reception infrastructure with its amenities necessary for the comfort of the visitor becomes more and more a domestic and economic question. Now, outside the local community which bitterly suspends their gain, everyone benefits from a beneficiary margin.
The municipal building lacks supervision by the specific human resource. The subordination of all tourism and craft activity to specifications is an acceptable regulatory approach.
In addition, Souk El Tenine, in the statutory rank of a Daira, is made up of three councilors: Souk El Tenine, Tamridjet and Melbou. Called as a peaceful coastal city on the Mediterranean shore located east of the territory of Bgayet at the crossroads of two national roads, namely the RN 43 leading to Jijel and RN 09 serving Sétif via Kherrata which impatiently reforted its status of a delegated wilaya, it sees, in recent decades, its urban fabric, not only Gain extension, but also its whole metamorphosis.
Indeed, in addition to the development of the urban space located in the city 40 logts which was long squatted by hazardous and worn sellers, wild parking, converted into a public garden associated with games accommodated for children, in the ancient center, the machine is underway and the beauty of the places becomes more visible.
For this, despite the efforts made by the first municipal magistrate, namely, proceeding the development of access to the city center, the repair of the sidewalks and parking which pose enormous difficulties to the users, the fitted sectors and the aesthetic touch are appreciable. In short, the table contains a beautiful green landscape.
It is notorious to indicate today that the city of Souk El Tenine has become extended and abundant. In terms of care by creating socio-economic infrastructure, the topo seems almost skinny.
As an illustration, the transport sector is experiencing lethargy. Anarchic judgments follow one another since the start of the entrance to the urban center where at least five stops are identified without any convenience. The semblance train station is becoming more and more limited compared to the numbers of users and mechanical devices in circulation; Certainly, the question is complex, but the ball is in which camp? A good hearing!
Finally, Souk El Tenine, with its natural beauty measured in its coastline, its picturesque and green mountains, better deserves to be considered, consisting of a tourist pole par excellence in extension to Melbou by its sea shore and also to Tamridjet mine -mined by its mountain tourism, as a bonus, the discovery of the dike and its natural waterfalls and hiking courses.
