Statement from the Kibbutz Nir Oz Spokesperson

755 days after the massacre — there are no longer any hostages from Kibbutz Nir Oz held in Gaza.

On October 7th, during those hours of failure, 76 people were kidnapped from Nir Oz, and our home became a center of tragedy.

Since then, the community of Nir Oz has lived through that same terrible day, fighting to bring back all the hostages.
Now, with the return of the last captive from the kibbutz, we can begin to process, to heal, and to mourn our 65 loved ones who will never return.

Alongside the painful closure of our own circle, there are still 11 families waiting for their loved ones.
We will continue to work together with them — until the very last hostage is home.
