Placed under the joint supervision of the Directorates of Agricultural Equipment and Services, this mission aimed to evaluate the progress of the development and extension work of local centers dedicated to agro-food storage. The main objective remains: Increase reception capacity, improve conservation conditions and guarantee compliance of installations with current technical standards.
Indeed, in line with the guidelines of the wali, Ahmed Boudouh, the technical services continue to closely monitor projects intended to strengthen the national grain storage capacity. A technical outing was organized at the end of the week at the Mostaganem storage center, as part of the work carried out by the wilayale commission. During this visit, particular attention was paid to lifting the reservations made during previous inspections. The mobilized teams verified compliance with deadlines, the quality of the work, as well as the application of the recommendations issued by the specialists. These projects constitute an essential link in the national strategy for securing cereal stocks, a crucial issue for ensuring the stability of supplies and preserving the country’s agricultural heritage.
