Tebboune appelle à préserver le message des Chouhada – Le Jeune Indépendant

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, insisted, Thursday, on the continuation of the mobilization to protect the homeland and preserve the legacy of the Chouhada so that other milestones are laid in the edifice of Algeria.

“True to the legacy of the Chouhada and our glorious Revolution, Algeria is fully aware that the independence we enjoy today was won at the cost of rivers of pure blood and caravans of symbols who sacrificed themselves for freedom,” wrote President Tebboune in a message on the occasion of the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of Independence Day.

And to add: “also, we will remain mobilized to honor these sacrifices, preserve the legacy of the Chouhada and protect our homeland so that other milestones are laid in the building of the Algeria dreamed of by the valiant Chouhada.”

“Attached to the Novemberist reference and measuring the symbolism of independence and the scope of its evocation, Algeria is moving forward today resolutely without ever losing sight, in all its choices, decisions, positions and projects, of what the November Revolution traced and the independence to which it led, an independence that the whole world knows was won at a heavy price,” continued the President of the Republic.

After stating that “Algeria had triumphed on more than one front,” the President of the Republic declared: “Yes, Algeria has triumphed. It has triumphed by regaining the bosom of its children, the honor of its name and the place that suits it. Algeria has succeeded in restoring confidence in a better future, strengthening national cohesion, reviving hope and reviving the economy. It has also succeeded in strengthening vulnerable categories and gaining the trust of young women and men. It has regained the image that suits it at the regional and international levels. Algeria has triumphed by its audible voice and its preserved place in the concert of nations. It has triumphed by raising awareness, throughout the world, about the tragic humanitarian situation in Palestine, a brother country.”

“The evocation of our national independence strengthens our determination and allows us to measure the luck we have to belong to a country of the greatness and importance of Algeria, this great country that has always known how to count on its children, even in the worst circumstances, its children who have always answered its call. This country that we cherish and to which we answer each time that a sensitive and crucial deadline is a question to be worthy of it,” concluded the President of the Republic.
