This was indicated in a press release from the Ministry of National Defense.
Upon his arrival, President Tebboune was welcomed by Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the ANP. The ceremony, part of the great traditions of the army aimed at promoting key stages of national history and paying tribute to the valiant chouhada, brought together high-ranking officials from the State and the armed forces.
Among the guests were the President of the Council of the Nation, the President of the National People’s Assembly, the Prime Minister, the President of the Constitutional Court, as well as several members of the government. Also present were the Lieutenant General, Commander of the Land Forces, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, the Commander of the Republican Guard, the Commanders of Forces and Military Regions, as well as the Heads of Departments, Directors and managers of the central services of the Ministry and the General Staff of the ANP. National figures and mujahideen also participated in this exceptional evening.
The ceremony began with the rendition of the National Anthem by the musical troupe of the Republican Guard, followed by two revolutionary songs, living witnesses to the memory and legacy of the struggle for independence. The participants then watched a documentary produced by the Directorate of Information and Communication of the ANP General Staff, entitled “The November Revolution: an epic of glory… Road to Victory”, retracing the key moments and heroes of the struggle for national liberation.
The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display, accompanied by excerpts from various musical genres, creating a solemn and festive atmosphere, in tribute to the chouhada and veterans.
